I second this advice! I along with 14 other buyers were scammed by MUSICSELLER over an Audiogon Dutch Auction.
Audiogon did nothing for me, but suspended this seller's account.
Paypal did even less, sent me all of the reasons why I am totally protected and did not refund my money, nor did they close or suspend the sellers account.
It was American Express who finally stepped-up to the plate and did a charge-back to Paypal.
Paypal sent me an e-mail acting as if the whole thing was new news to them. So much for protection and follow-up.
As I had closed both Audiogon and Paypal accounts, I am a happy AMEX customer now.
Lesson learned, use your credit card.
