I've dealt with a number of scammers on Craigslist. Here's how this one would play out, if you fell for it. You send him some photos. He gets back to you in lousy English saying that it is acceptable and that he will send "his shipper" to pick up the item, and that he will pay by (money order, cashier's check -- pick one). The check will be bogus. He will also insist, hiding behind (bogus?) bad English that this is the only way the deal can work (for no particularly good reason). The poor English is part of the dodge, as it inhibits you from arguing or settling on details.
The same scam runs from the supply end, too. The tell is that the SOB is never in the same city as the merchandise. I love screwing with those guys, hopefully wasting their time so they can't f* over someone else.
Good luck, and run, don't walk, away from this "deal."
