Even if they don't pay their bills, or steal a bunch of cellphones, it makes the phone companies over there angry at them, and since most phone companies in that part of the world are run by the government, it adds a bit more pressure on them to do something about these scams.There's a website somewhere dedicated to screwing with the Nigerian money scams, one guy strung them along for a few weeks, and actually talked them into sending HIM a check for a couple thousand dollars. There's an .mp3 of the final phone conversation that's priceless.
