Ok, next question about Paypal

I want to bid on a CD box set from a sellar who has no feedback and has only been an ebay member since 4/1, the day the listing started. The box set is out of print and over $100. He will take paypal payment. Does that make this scam proof? Can I get my $100 back if he does not deliver and I pay with paypal?
