This is a well-known scam. Typically, you'd take the money order to your bank to cash it in order to send the difference between the amount of the money order and the purchase price. when you cash the money order, you have to endorse it. By endorsing it, you guarantee its ultimate collection by your bank. You send the difference to the "buyer" and you send your equipment. Then, several weeks later, your bank finds that the money order is fraudulent and then backcharges your account. You're out your money and your equipment.Jim Crane
