Just because it's deposited in you bank is nothing.
If the check is bogus, I assure you it will be your problem and the bank will withdraw it's funds!!! It is not safe.The only real recourse you have is with a credit card, on the purchase side. On the recieving side, deposit the check and wait 14 days if it's from Canada.
