scam?

Hi, I just recieved an offer to buy a dvd player that I have listed on audiogon, it is from a gentleman from Ontario with zero feedback, he says he is an established e-bay buyer but did not give me any e-bay information. He says he will have a money order sent buy courier. He may be ok but something about it just struck me as odd, how can you guard against bogus money orders that are made on a computer?
