I have had two second chance offers recetly when purchasing tubes for my preamp. In both cases the seller was able to send me via eBay messaging a private Buy it Now listing. The offer comes into your My eBay message center and usually has an expiration date set by the seller. Both transactions went smoothly.As a rule of thumb if you get an email from eBay or from an eBay seller, a duplicate of that email will be in your My eBay message center. If it isn't it most likely is a scam.
