FRAUD ALERT ON AUDIOGON Member - Juanmort

Lately there has been a lot of bogus ads on Audiogon.
Audiogon member Juanmort supposely has a pair of Sonus Faber Extrema speakers for sale with a zip code in Denver, CO. First of all his price is very low for the speakers.
My brother lives in Denver, CO and wanted to pick them up in person with cash. This Fraud "Juanmort" wanted my brother to send him cash in an envelope to a PO BOX or send Blank Postal MOney Orders. Then he could pick up the Extremas.
In summary Audiogon is attracting scum from Audio Web and E-Bay. The old saying applies here, if it looks too good to be true it probably is.
Just be careful if you see something on Audiogon for sale well below the market value. And if they have 0 feedback and just signed up, it usually smells of Trouble.
