when valued over $10-15. For a few dollars more, UPS is a good carrier with light weight items as they rarely lose anything. in fact, I never experienced a lost parcel vs USPS losing about 1 out of 150 parcels.All carriers will most likely damage to some extent very heavy items where as a true freight carrier is more careful. UPS just messed up a wood crated amp- go figure. Soldred wire broken off, speakers with voice coils rubbing now. Very nasty handling. Cartwheeling heavy items out of the back of a truck is one sure way. Thankyou UPS & FED EX in the last 30 days for crappy handling.
