Never had a problem with doing transactions on there, thankfully.
As with anything, buyer beware.
As much as it would be nice for them to have an appropriate response, people get ripped off on Ebay where they're "supposed" to have a great buyer protection system. Scum will find a way to scam people, no matter what the system in place is.
