Fake money order? Opinions please!

I am selling a Proceed PMDT on Audiogon and other places like Craiglist. I received this email. It looks really suspicious to me:
"Hi,
Thanks for the response.I live in Tallahassee, Florida. I want to buy this from you as soon as possible.Kindly advise if a money order will suit you as a payment option.Also ,this package is being purchased for an uncle of mine,who has just relocated to Africa.But you need not worry about s/h,as i'ld take care of it myself,via FedEx courier,or alternatively via post-office.Pls mail me back with your full name and address so that i can have faster payment sent to you asap,if you are okay with this."
Are fake USPS money orders common? This person didn't ask any questions or try to negotiate the price. I bet his uncle lives in Nigeria!
He didn't even ask if my price was in Canadian or US dolars!
