I'm running Windows 98, and they sold me an ethernet card that requires WIN 2000 or better. If unopened, I could return it "at no cost to me."
Their 'interpretation' of no cost to me is I'm responsible for the shipping tab both ways.
A Manager will call me within three days - their 'policy'.
I'll let you know how it goes.
