Last month, Mr. Noel Anderson and I were involved in a public argument, some of which was posted on this board. We made a deal for a vintage receiver on Audiogon. I had mistakenly assumed that Mr. Anderson had willfully swapped a more expensive unit after our agreement and then attempted to charge me more than I had agreed to pay. I now believe that I was wrong in that regard and that Mr. Anderson was and is completely innocent of any wrongdoing. His feedback records on Audiogon and on eBay are exemplary, and I should have taken this into account before making such accusations. I can only say that the period was a time of extreme personal stress for me, but I fully realize that this does not condone my actions. Mr. Anderson and I have agreed to put aside our differences. I deeply regret any damage to Mr. Anderson's reputation that I might have caused, and hope that this public apology will finally set things right.
