make absolutely sure you take notes. Take down the respondent's name and number, and also get a claim number from him or her immediately. Don't become reassured if he says an inspector will be out. They will not send an inspector and should you forget, then they will say that the deadline for filing a claim has passed. Make a recording of the conversation if possible.
