Have been happily using a pair of Eric Barbour's SV811-10 monoblocks for many years.
Originally, coupling caps were .47uf and when I did the later circuit modification (using a 6EM7 driver in place of 6SN7), he said the original cap value could be kept.
In looking at a more recent schematic though, the value has been increased to 2 uf.
I'm still using .47uf and everything works and sounds fine. Would I notice much difference if I switched to 2uf? They are fairly pricey.
