Almarro

has anyone heard about/from Almarro lately?

they are a japanese manufacturer of SET amps and loudspeakers. their US dealer network seems to have faded away. also, direct e-mail inquiries to the company have gone unanswered.

they make (made?) some of the very best SET amps on the market - excellent designs; hand built, point-to-point wiring; very high quality parts. i have their a318-b amp -- had it serviced once and the guy said it was crazy detailed and one of the quietest amps he had ever heard. that is certainly my experience and i have never read a review of any of Almarro's amps that was not very highly positive.

anyway, hope Almarro is still around !!
