Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

I yawn whenever I read posts about "reference recordings"

But I have given this a little thought, and since I have a nice pair of Class A triode-wired monos (KT66) and a bunch of SET amps, I keep listening to various recordings of Bach's cello suites and his violin cantatas and partitas, and find that these two, taken together, sound so much more alive, dynamic tonally thrilling on any of my SET amps than on my PP monos that I keep turning to them and never stop finding something new.

So, I better stop yawning.
