Getting up to 10 watts in triode is the trick. A KT88 can get about 8 watts. You could drive the KT120/150 higher. Without going to parallel, 10 watts demands KT88 or above. The 300b has a plate dissipation of around 40 watts, so does the KT88, that is why in triode their power is about the same.
If you want bigger power, look for plate dissipations above 60 watts. Remember that you do not want to run a tube at 100% maximum ratings unless you have a big stack of tubes you don't mind burning through.
