I will go the subwooofer route but had planned on one sub until I read your post. I would definitely appreciate your explanation on why two are better than one. I thought that one is better because two subwoofers might interfere with each other, enforce each other on some frequencies and cancel each other out on other frequencies.

I am looking at the MJ Acoustics subs.
