BTW, Don considers the 421A his favorite amp ...it reaches a level of refinement that his other amps don't. IMO,the 2a3 and 300b sound gritty and less accurate,although I have yet to hear his newly designed 300b mono's. Don always told me that 95% of the sound of his amps are due to the design,that's why after doing some 6sl7 tube rolling on the 421A,the stock 6sl7 sounds the best...sometimes it's better to stick with the tube the designer voiced the amp with...sorry from going off topic.
Also ,no sub needed with the W3 speakers..I know you'e happy wth your Druids but you'll be hearing more about this speaker when it hits the shows this spring.
