So, let me get this straight - If one SET system is good, two SET systems are better. I happen to know that you have carried this to what most people would consider an extreme - one SET system in every room in your house (and patio). I happen to like this approach a lot, but can neither afford it nor bring myself to suggest this to my wife. This way you can find a different amp/tube/speaker combo for each room according to the type of music you prefer in that room. This very much reminds me a fellow I met many years ago who was a Sitar player. I visited his apartment and on one wall he had perhaps a dozen different Sitars mounted. No two were alike. I naively asked him which was his favorite. He smiled and said, “It depends on what I want to play and what time of day it is. This one, for instance is my favorite for slow ragas played in the pre dawn morning hours when the sky begins to lighten, but the stars are still sparkling.†I knew immediately what he meant.
