Can I just switchout 300B for 45 or 2A3?

I have a John Hogan amp and line stage and was wondering if all three tubes could be used interchangable? I am a complete electronics idiot so if you just asked yourself "is this gut a complete idiot?", the answer is yes. Cheers.
