I agree with what you are saying. Thanks for your additive comments.

A frequency boost is a rather artificial thing. It is not really pleasing. What the 45 does is a certain type of emphasis on the midrange to a benefit of the music that goes beyond what one could hope for. It does this naturally, and nothing can match what it does in this regard.

I didn't focus much on the clarity and accuracy. These are differentiating variables also about the tube. The minute I turned on a 45 amp this morning, I realized I shortchanged the tube.

I was a little bit focused on the one variable.
