I have to say I think this is like comparing apples and oranges. they are different, so how can one be better than the other. Its a matter of taste. You cant make a 300 sound like a 45 or a 2a3 like a 300.The fortunate ones are the owners of all types of amps. Other than that is pick the sound you want for yourself.
Me myself, I'm a 2a3 guy. But I have to admit that I spent very short limited listening to the other amps. My descition was based on my speaker requirments (Fostex FE166 BLH,. which happens to be the pr that I herd all three amps on.
