Nice post dude. I have experienced exactly what you are talking about, but when I used to dj in clubs. Some records were so close in frequency that when I mixed them together at the same volume, I got some wierd drop outs and fazing.
I used to use this to good effect with dual copies of the same track.My question though, is in a 2 mono block amp set-up, can the phase shift from one track to another between left and right channel. Or when you switch it back on? I tested my speakers when I hooked them up, but not since. Is it possible? I know some hi-tech SS digital amps have phase switch, as do many subs.
