Just try it.. some of my guita amps, especially the PP amps can go clean for ALONG time before PT distortion kicks in.. I dought you have a master with those,most all modern amps use pre distortion mostly.. it takes LOTSA vlome & pushing output tubes real hard to get them to distort to cream....In SEP amps it is easy to get them to distort , but then again, you still have to crack the throttle with a SE amp to get it to distort into cream.. so if you have high eff, speakers I would try it.. You never said what kind of mono's you have,, are you sure they ARE guitar amps..? what tube types are in them..?But DOC said it best TONE-Fi is not Hi. I still would try it though,,Heck , most people laugh at my 6sn7 amps... as in the output tube...I love them.........
