Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

Triamping my high-sensitivity linearray speakers.

This system is about 97dB sensitive, and I'm now using ASL 22-Watt SETs to drive the system full range. (The bass systems are separately filtered thru a Dahlquist DQLP-1 and are driven by 2 channels of a 200WPC-times-7 Outlaw amp, but the main systems are indeed driven full-range.)

I think I'd like to use a digital crossover/eq. and separately amplify the tweeters. So I'd have the 22-Watt ASL SETs driving the linearray of bass/MR drivers and...what?...driving the tweeters. I believe a 2A3's 3-or-so Watts would be plenty, and I'm considering the bottlehead Paramour II kits. I'd like to keep the total cost down as I do NOT have thou$and$ lying about, so the P-IIs' delivered cost of c. $725 is VERY appealing.

Is the P.II a good choice for the treble of my DIY speakers?
