As much as I like AN, $3.5K for el84 amp is not little by any means.I never heard one but I like el84 and I bet it sounds great as it is using substancial OPT (the very same which 300B Quest amp)
As to the speakers ,they were not designed to work with SET amps.It was the other way around? P.Q liked Snells so much that AN. UK designed amps around them.Cheers
