The 12bz7 almost has enough voltage swing to drive the 300B. So use it. The nice thing about the 6n1p is that it sounds good, and is simple. the same is echoed with the 12BZ7. I generally believe theorectically in only 2 stages max for an audio amp. So....try G.Pimm's Batt CCS on top of the 12BZ7.
12BZ7 has lots of gain, and a bit of current: enough to handle the miller cap.

heater voltage with lots of current. the 2.5V 300b's will come in handy.
