Hi Manuel,I have just bought an used P2SE. I am positively surprised, the amp can drive my speakers without any problems. The bass is even more controlled as before (at last I can hear the bottom octave of a piano). I think, the amp is faster then my ss. There are more details in the upper bass and more sweet middles. The acoustic music sounds much more clearly and naturally. Even the rock is ok, sometimes a little bit too warmly (heavy metal). But "hammond" rock is perfect.
I can surely live some time with this temporary solution.
By the way, the P2SE plays well even with my 15 year old Pioneer CD player. Its a pity, the player has no digital output, otherwise I would get a DAC...
The P2SE is very hot, is it normal? Are there more versions of the P2SE amp? The actual pictures of the interior at the AN Site differ from my amp. The serial no. is P2SE-266.
I think, the next step is a new speaker. What do you prefer, AN 94dB or 98dB versions?
