I am running a pair of WE 300B's made in June 2006 in my ASL AQ-1005DT's. The sound is excellent and the build quality appears to be superb.My only problem (and maybe it is not a problem) is that I cannot turn up the bias up to the manufacturer's recommended 650 mV. They run at about 600 mV. I had the same problem with a pair of TJ 300B meshplates (which, I am told, are not a drop-in 300B replacement). Curiously, EH 300B's can be biased to 650 mV in my amp. Maybe my amp's bias circuit needs fixing, maybe not.
At any rate, the new production WE 300B's sound great!
