Nice speakers. :) My friends dad listens to a pair on an NAD power amp. We hooked them up to a triode-wired Dynaco ST-70 on afternoon a few years ago and he was utterly floored.How much do you have to spend? I'd be inclined to build a pair of
Dynaclone Mk III monoblocks, using KT88's wired in triode, for a good
25W.This works really well for other people with low-Z speakers such
as Magnepans, ESL63s and Vandersteens. With the Thiels, you should
be all set. If building from kit with the help of friends cant be made to work, then maybe a used pair of Quicksilver M-60s or Mono's.-- Jim
