Hello William,I own an Audio Note Meishu integrated amp that has been rebuild to use 2A3 plus various other changes.
Everywhere in the amp (also in the riaa circuit) I now use the latest cobberfoil papir-in-oil capacitors from Jensen that are encased in PHENOLIC paper tubes.
The sound has become much more clear and natural. They are absolutely amazing!!
Regards,
ThomasP.S. My amp was build in 1998 when Audio Note UK were still buying their caps from Jensen, so the amp was before my upgradings fitted with "standard" alufoil PIO type encased in aluminium tubes. My impressions are from going from these to the new type.
