I wonder wich 300B filament rectifier are using on your higher level finished product (if you can share this info, of course).
I have do a preselection to upgrade my AN kit one, besides a masive BG upgrade:
CREE, silicon carbide schottky, 600v, 4 A
IR 10CTQ150, silicon schottky, 150v, 10 A
