Hey all...After a disappointing experience with a Rogue Audio 66, I'm looking for another preamp for my SV811-10 SET monos. My problem with the Rogue was that it was too noisy - when it warmed up, I got this hissing noise in the speakers (Klipsch Forte II's). They're pretty efficient, so any little noise shows up...I can deal with the very minor hum from the amps, but this was much worse than that.
So I'm looking for a new preamp. It needs to have a remote, and balance controls...I just find that I get more enjoyment out of the setup if I don't keep constantly getting up and down to fiddle with the volume. Budget is $800 or less.
