Are you running at about 1kv? It would seem that 35 watts out of a single 845 would be feasible but as I read tech articles it seems not.The De Havilland with the SV572 was 40 watts se but they said the 845 amp they made which was 25 watts was more dynamic.
Here is the senario..My 811 amps are great with the 572 tube but on powerful vocals it does clip here and there. If I had 50 watts I would be fine becuase the mac mc60s dont clip which are heavily upgraded with good componets and the citation 2 is a honey and my all time favorite with Mc Shane's upgrade kits and pios.
Naz Circosta is using a parallel SE 845 on the logan statements and he adores it..Of course he the SET amp is running the panels only from 170hz on up at 24db/oct.
