I should have warned you about the prices of Gordon's equipment. His amps do sound incredible though. Well worth the money to me at least. As far as kits, I know that you can buy from Bottlehead their 2A3 monoblock kits and convert them to a 45. I know that Doc is a great guy to deal with and gives great customer support. Their kits are the Paramour (3.5 watts from a 2A3) and the Paraglow (2.4 watts from a 2A3). You can expect less power from a 45 in these amps so make sure that you have speakers with fairly high sensitivity and a fairly even impedence curve. Talk directly with Bottlehead about which one would be better suited for a 45.
Welborne Labs (www.welbornelabs.com) used to have a 2A3 monoblock kit that they sold and their Moondog Audio division I think does still sell a 2A3 monoblock. But they are in the process of completely changing their kit product line right now but you might talk to Ron Welborne to see if they are going to offer another 2A3 kit in the near future that could be converted to a 45.
There are some other 2A3 amps kits available that you could also convert to a 45 but I can't remember them right now. Some may come up from a search of the Tube DIY asylum or this asylum of course.
I hope that you are able to find something to your liking since the 45 tube conveys the most immediacy and emotion that I have heard from any other tube. Just incredible.
