I think you need to add a big IMHO at the end of that long rant. Perhaps "Magic" to you is loud sterile twack to me so i think this is all opinion huh?
Perhaps Vince has already tried the "recommended amp" and likes his SET amps better? My thing is tone. Others its loudness, dynamics, or a relaxing sound etc. We all have different opinions on what is "magic" so don't kid yourself into thinking your opinion is any better and most of all don't try to pass your opinion as fact.
