Hi,
I have access to a large amount of old NRG 53103 foam insulation with the reflector (shiny silver) surfaces on both sides. The material is 3" thick and I think it has a high R value (for heat).
For making a couple of bass traps using this material, how thick should it be? I was thinking of making boxes with 18" of air space with the NRG foam panels simply glued together in a box around it - should it be double-thick?
TIA -
Mark
