PS Audio Duet problem: no blue light

I just picked up a second hand PS Audio Duet power conditioner. The blue logo power button does not blink when it is plugged in or illuminate at all during use. Is it possible that the unit is functioning properly, even though the light is not working or would the light issue suggest something else is wrong?
