Sure. Any standard UPS works just fine. These normally just pass the power unaffected until there's a need for battery backup. This is fine. What you don't want is a fancy sine wave version that is known as a double conversion UPS - these are power limited, put out crappy sine waves and aren't good for the Power Plant's performance.
