Boy that's a tough one. I think it'd be close. The P5 is definitely more powerful than the PPP but not by a lot. It's biggest advantage is the ability to handle greater klong term loads without shutting down so I am tempted to say yes, but if the PPP shut down before on demands, you might have the same happen with a P5. As far as picture and sound, the P5 is hands down better than the PPP and the PPP was no slouch!
