RE: PS Audio PS II From The Late 70's

Thank you for the reply.
The associated equipment I have is as follows: Preamp; BAT VK 5i, Amps: GTA SE 40 and B&K M200 Sonata, CDP: Primare CD21, Speakers: Klipsch Epic CF3 (first series). The GTA tube amp drives the horns and the B&K drives the cone woofers.

As for my analog front end I recently purchased a Systemdek IIX and just yesterday put a Grado Green cartridge and had the table/cartridge professionally mounted and aligned so I feel the table is now good to go. Since the BAT is a line stage only I now need a phono stage. Would you say this older PS Audio phono stage would mate well with my associated equipment? I need to spend just enough to see if LP's will be for me before spending much more. I do need a phono stage with very good gain, say in the 60 db or higher range as I do like to play loud. Will the PS Audio phono stage accomplish this?

Sorry for so many questions, and thank you.
