The parts quality inside the PW is top notch despite what's been written. Each of the resistors are PRP (and very expensive) these are the same ones used in the very expensive Ayre products amongst other fine brands (for example). EWe also use all hand selected capacitors, Jung regulators, discrete through hole parts (not surface mount) in the analog stages, etc. It's incredibly well built.

You are welcome to remove the top cover and have a peek. It certainly will NOT void your warranty.
