Man was I sick of the nonsense that Prop Head kept repeating. It really had been so childish.

Nobody has the final correct answer because it doesn't work like that. These topics are in the nebulous world of stats, NOT a science, and NOT true mathematics, such as F=ma, E=m(c^2), V=IR. It's based on a concept called probability, and since the results always remain between 0% and 100%, not slammed to 0% and 100% only, this is already proven to be pretty fishy stuff.

Every drug company knows that interpretation of efficacy is open to many interpretations, from many people's differently held philosophies. When applied to ear-brain testing, even more problems arise as this is asking someone to remember two things in the cerebral cortex as well, and make a decision, not just express how you now feel. It then becomes "autonomic brain - ear - cognitive brain" testing. Far more to ask from someone than "so how do you feel now".

And always, you can show numbers must differ, but the amount can and often does mean nothing until put to the test of actual listening. From there it is always a religious matter as to how the conclusions are arrived, and it still remains a personal matter. Expecting proof or disproof is not how nebulous science is performed. It is about what evidence convinces the experts and the individuals.

To this day, despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, many people choose to believe against science and go with their special personal religion. And there still is nothing wrong with it, unless it becomes hate.

Peace on Earth, good will toward men, and please let it be.
