I would tend to disagree. People who typically buy Bose equipment simply weight their requirements differently to those who typically buy audiophile equipment. Neither set of values is inherently superior to the other they are just different. The superior set of values is, of course, those associated with "high fidelity" rather than "audiophile" which, surprisingly, happens to be mine.

"Opinion" seems to find a much greater use inside the audiophile world compared to outside it because it is misused in order to make incorrect statements about objective matters which the audiophile knows little about, cannot be bothered to find out about and would like to be true. The real world tends to restrict opinions to subjective matters or objective matters that are sufficiently complex for an informed guess to be reasonable.
