Re: Yet another last chapter of the GSIC saga!

"You would do well, not to impugn our motives for trying to understand the 'chip'. I'm curious, that's all."

You need to re-read the original post John.

"Geoff isn't deliberately lying about anything, and it is insulting that you imply that he is doing so."

John, you're obviously out of the loop on this one. I took the picture posted on Geoff's website, and I explained what the "unusual quilting" was. Geoff knows this. Furthermore, if Geoff doesn't know this, then it shows that he's never "popped the case" as he claims, because you have to be blind (my apologizes to geoff if he IS blind) not to see it. Do you see any "unusual quilting" in the photos in the original post on this board? This isn't a subjective question John, so answer it truthfully.

If geoff knew that the quilting was the result of the disks being pressed into the backing, then he lied about them indicating a quantum array. You can spin this any way you want to, but if you continue to reject simple, basic facts that a child can understand, then "impugning your motives" will have been accomplished by your own hand. It's up to you to make a decision about where you stand on deceptive advertising; no one's going to force you to accept the truth. That's what being a scientist is all about John; you accept the truth as is plainly shown without ascribing your own personal motives and agenda to it. If you want to interpret geoff's willful bending of the truth as a noble motive, then you and he deserve each other. Clark has no more interest in integrity either apparently, so the three of you can spearhead the quest for knowledge together, and what a team you guys make!

"That's why I chuckle when I see diligent amateurs trying to make a better amplifier, cheaply."

Very impressive and enlightening response John. You should be proud.
