So if I'm correct in my assessment (and I have not searched for your name in the archives and it is the first time I have seen it), then your post is biased towards John because your beliefs.

I believe you have demonstrated a good example of confirmation bias which is the tendency to put greater weight on evidence that tends to confirm your beliefs and more easily dismiss evidence against.

Don't worry, it happens a lot around here.
