Hi!I have tried several scope software on my laptop with a Echoaudio Audiofire4.
None produce accurate results on sinewaves above 5kHz or so. I have used a software signal generator out thru the DAC portion of the Audiofire4 and analyzed the sinewaves with a external PC-scope (picoscope)and everything seems fine on the generating side.
But as mentioned, I can not get the ADC-scope to work.
The trace on the screen start to move up and down like the signal would be frequency modulated or something. Also at 10k or so some peaks and dips are flatened and the waveform start to look like triangular wave instead of sine wave.
I can see two explanations for this 1) aliasing errors in the ADC portion of the Echoaudio or 2) software problem with the various scope programs and/or windows.
Does anyone have a clue about what the problems is all about?
Oh, could it be that I need to set the trigger even though I use a steady state signal?
Thanks in advance!
/Peter
